AcceleDent uses SoftPulse Technology® to speed up the natural movement of your teeth for less time with braces or other orthodontic treatments. In just 20 minutes a day, the tiny vibrations caused by AcceleDent can expedite tooth movement by up to 50%. This means less time in the orthodontist’s chair and straighter teeth, faster.
Faster Orthodontic Treatment In Denver
AcceleDent Aura’s SoftPulse Technology releases a safe and effective light force pulse that transmits through the roots of your teeth to the surrounding bone socket. This helps accelerate the cellular response and speeds the rate at which your teeth can move. When used in conjunction with orthodontics, AcceleDent Aura has been clinically proven to move teeth up to 50% faster.
Acceledent® Aura Is Safe & Gentle
AcceleDent Aura is cleared by the FDA and has been demonstrated safe and reliable in U.S. clinical trials. AcceleDent Aura’s vibration is a reasonable and safe approach for accelerating tooth movement. In fact, the force applied to teeth during ordinary chewing is at least 200x greater than the force applied with AcceleDent Aura (5000g chewing vs. 25g AcceleDent Aura). Many orthodontists and patients have reported that AcceleDent reduces discomfort associated with tooth movement from braces. Speaks Orthodontics offers AcceleDent as one of many orthodontic treatment options at our Denver office.

Get The Smile Of Your Dreams In Less Time
In our continuous effort to provide the best orthodontic care for our patients, we are excited to include PROPEL® technology in our practice. PROPEL® stimulates bone remodeling, allowing the teeth to move faster and more predictably into their ideal position. This innovative technology allows Dr. Speaks to finish treatment more effectively and efficiently. This means less time in treatment for both patients in traditional braces or using Invisalign® aligners. PROPEL® works with the patient’s own biology by stimulating the bone surrounding the teeth. Patients will finish their treatment with exceptional results in less time and with fewer treatment visits.
What Is PROPEL® Orthodontics?
PROPEL® Orthodontics provides innovative devices and procedures to shift teeth as quickly and painlessly as possible. The PROPEL® System can be used in combination with current orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign® and traditional braces, to help move teeth into their desired position 50% faster than teeth can move with Invisalign® and traditional braces alone. Dr. Speaks a PROPEL® Orthodontics provider, so you can enjoy a perfect smile faster than ever before.
Why Should I Consider PROPEL® Orthodontics?
The PROPEL® System uses a procedure called Alveocentesis™ to make orthodontic systems, such as Invisalign® and traditional braces, more efficient. Alveocentesis™ stimulates the production of alveolar bone in the maxilla and mandible, the upper and lower jaw, so as teeth shift into alignment, the bone that holds teeth in place can better adjust to shifting teeth. An increasing number of adults are seeking the variety of orthodontic treatments available to straighten their teeth. A classically beautiful smile can improve your life socially, psychologically, and functionally, but at such an advanced stage, orthodontically, adults can only hope to achieve growth and bone development through orthognathic surgery. Many adults can receive orthodontic treatments without the worry of bone growth or development and still achieve beautiful results, but severe malocclusion, such as an overbite or crossbite, may provide an added concern during orthodontic treatments. In addition to less bone development, adults heal more slowly, and their teeth shift at a slower rate. PROPEL® Orthodontics can help with all of these factors while on your journey to achieve a perfect smile.
How Can PROPEL® Orthodontics Help Me?
At Speaks Orthodontics, Dr. Speaks provides PROPEL® Orthodontics to help facilitate and expedite the orthodontic process, especially in adult patients whose avuncular bone can no longer produce new bone to accommodate shifting teeth. The PROPEL® system will help both your teeth shift and tissues heal faster than they ever could with orthodontic treatment alone. PROPEL® Orthodontics can also help produce faster results in patients whose bone growth is still active, such as in teens and young adults.
With PROPEL® Orthodontics, our Denver orthodontist can help:
- Shift teeth faster
- Heal tissues faster
- Stimulate alveolar bone development
- Supplement and enhance the process of orthodontic treatments
Traditional Metal Braces
Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (rubber bands) for a more fun and colorful smile.
Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. While they are definitely less visible, they do require more attention to oral hygiene as ceramic braces are larger and are more brittle than their metal counterparts. For these reasons, ceramic braces tend to be used more on upper front teeth than on lower teeth.
Invisalign® uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to straighten your teeth. And, no one can tell you are wearing Invisalign®. Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are less of a hassle. The aligners are comfortable and have no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.
